Like a lizard on a window pane....

You...

Name: Katie!
Nickname(s): Well, actually, if I'm TOTALLY honest, Katie is in itsself is a nickname. It's short for Catherine- named after my grandmother. However, SHE'S always been Catherine, and I've always been Katie. I have plenty of other (sort of nick)names, however that people call me: Kates, Kay, Kat, Missy Foo Foo (by my best friend) and...Teresa by my mother. That's my aunt's name, and apparently I'm so much like her that she just slips up and calls me my aunt's name.
Age: 19! In September, I'll be twenty. God, I feel so old. I'm also a sophomore in College.
Location: I live in Maryland. I love it here! It's not too big, not too small. But I guess we miss out on a lot of stuff. That, and we never seem to win Miss America. Well, that's not important, but you know what I mean. Not recognized for stuff, I guess.
Three positive adjectives that describe who you are: Oh man. Okay- here we go.
- Empathetic: I can pick up on what people are feeling very often. I'm well known for it, however, it's a double edged sword. I seem to think other people's problems are my own, and I get very upset whenever other people are.
- Straightlaced: I consider this, again, both positive and negative. I'll write the negatives in the other question. I guess you would stereotype me as "good"- I don't drink because it's illegal to do so at my age, I don't commit crimes, I'll never consider doing drugs. I'm a Catholic school girl, you know? ;) (seriously. XD Four years of catholic school)
- Easy-going: Though I am straight laced, I tend to go with the flow. I'm a pretty chill person. I would NEVER do a lot of things that others do, but I'm pretty much like, "Do whatever you want, but just don't hurt me or my friends."
Three negative adjectives that describe who you are:
- Needs to be the best: This is probably a negative aspect because I resent whoever is ahead of me- ESPECIALLY in acting class (which is my major). I can't help but be jealous.
- Innocent: I tend to believe a lot of what people are saying, even if they're lying. I like to believe the best in people. People have taken advantage of me before because of it. It's something I'm working on; but for now, innocent is a BIG thing with me.
- Short tempered: I've been snapping a lot reciently by accident. I honestly don't mean it, but it just comes out like word vomit. Sometimes I don't even know I say something until it's already been said. And then I feel absolutely horrible.
Pick a line from a song that you think describes you: This lyric is my favorite song right now; it's called "Ever Dream" by Nightwish.
"Ever felt away with me
Just once that all I need
Entwined in finding you one day"

This speaks to me because I really want true love, above all. It just seems like I never find it, which is sad. But I WILL find it one day. I know I will.
Favourite quote "With our friendship comes that whatever happens to you, happens to me." I live by this quote because I think it's extremely important to be a good friend. I really do take on people's problems on to myself. My mother has told me to stop that, but I can't help it.
Hobbies/Interests: I love to sing, dance, act, really anything creative! I love to also take care of my dog. I research history- especially Tudor History.
Likes: I love history, theater, art, fashion, Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies, beauty.
Dislikes: Feeling flustered, being hassled, being backed into a corner.
Same gender stamp? I'd appreciate ti, but it really doesn't matter. Who ever Im like is whoever I'm like.

Either Or...

Bravery or Revenge: Bravery. Even though it sometimes is satisfying, revenge is never the answer. It's sick and twisted and usually worse than what happened in the first place.
Social or Anti-social: I'm a nice blend of both, I'd say. I like to socialize, but I also get sick of people after a while and enjoy peace and quiet at home.
Brilliance or Imagination: Imagination. A little imagination goes a long way- it can carry you. Especially in my line of work (acting, you know.)
Street smart or Book smart: I'm technically book smart. I'm pretty innocent in the ways of the world- I research the past instead.
Pessimist or Optimist Optimist. I know everything will come out all right in the end.
Night or Day I'm really a night owl. XD All though I love to have a nice, full day, it's just not me. I stay up WAY too late.
Leader or Follower I like to be a leader, but I also follow as well. I give and take equally, I suppose.
Laid-Back or Tense Laid back, definately. Things just arent that big of a deal to constantly be stressed out about it.
Realist or Dreamer Dreamer. I see the way things should be seen.

Favourites:

Movies I love romance movies- so my favorites include 13 Going on 30, Casablanca, *Rebecca,* Sweeney Todd (not really romance, but it's romantic in ways.) Forrest Gump... I love historical movies like the Gladiator, a Knight's Tale, Sense and Sensibility... it goes on and on. XD you get the point, right?
Books I love ALL books, but again, mostly romance. I ADORE Meg Cabot. She's such an amazing writer. Avalon High is my favorite book of hers, followed shortly by Pants on Fire and the Princess Diaries.
Music I'm a show tunes-y kind of girl, but I dabble in symphonic rock- mostly Nightwish and Within Temptation. I love big, flowing music. Hinder, Daughtry, Nickleback, and Evanescence are also favorites, all though the new Evanescence album was stupid.
Artist (optional) I love art all together, but I don't really know if I can pick just one artist. If I HAVE to, I'll pick Ansel Adams. I love his work- it's complex, and yet simple. I don't really know how to describe it. It's just so full of emotion. It's stunning.
Color I love silver. I'm not really sure why, I just really am drawn to it. I like soft, feminine colors and I think silver is probably the second most feminine you can get. (pink is my second favorite)

Would you attempt the impossible, even if you were told it couldn't be done? Of course.. Impossible things are happening every day. It's corny, but it's true. The world is changing every day- the things that were once "impossible" are not anymore. That's what makes life so wonderful.
Would you do what you thought was right, even without the help or support of others? I hope I would. I do have to say that I get very uneasy whenever people don't follow me, because I do want to please others. But I really do do the right thing.
Are you dependable? I do believe I'm dependable. I enjoy people depending on me. I love the feeling of being depended on. It makes me feel important.
Who or What would you lay in front of a tank for? I would lay under a tank for my friends and family. They're the things I love more than anything in the world.

Across the Universe -

Favorite character and why: I love Lucy and Max the most; I really like the brother/sister cute relationship they have, and as well I really empathize with their problems. I really love how Max brings in the comedic value, and Lucy's dedication I really understand.
Who do you relate to most and why: Lucy, definately. She's dedicated, strong willed, and intelligent. I could see myself doing exactly what she does; and she
Favorite scene? I really like It Wont Be Long and Strawberry Fields, and also Helter Skelter. I really like the dramatic songs, as well as the cuteness of It Wont Be Long. So cute! I love it.
Favorite quotes (no more than three): "So learn French. Learn French or die."
Favorite song-scene Strawberry Fields, again! I love the drama, the dynamics that everyone brings to the song and the scene. It's just so beautiful and epic.
